    Your Inner European is Italian!

You show the world what culture really is.

    ...well duh...

Anyway, had an Algebra test yesterday. I aced it. Got one wrong. He added four points to everyone's grade. So, I got a 100! Highest grade in the class, average was a 72, and the only person to make that grade. *dances* Take that, Dr. Chen Chen.

On another math note, my mom got her assignment for summer school yesterday. These lovely idiots have assigned her to GEOMETRY! My mother, a librarian for 30 something years, has her teaching certificate in English and Spanish. No where does it imply that she knows anything about math, much less geometry. They got that assignment yesterday, and the first day was today. *headdesk* My poor mother. She was like "If I really didn't need the money, I'D QUIT RIGHT NOW!". So, I was trying to explain some basic geometry. I showed her my geometry review section in my algebra book. And we looked for some printables online for class. Unfortunately, the stupid people can't find their teacher's edition of the textbook. So, my mother is going to be teaching this class cold...

So, kids, ever wanted to learn about my high school? Well, now there is an entry at wikipedia.com. If you read the bit about Snowball, there is an example about how a girl asked a boy. Yep...Allee and Carl are my heros.

omg...damn LIVEJOURNAL...i hate this stupid text box thing with all the buttons! god...i just switched it over. grr...i hit a wrong button and whoops...it goes to a new page and i lose what i just write. oh well, it was REAL ADD anyway. This might not be anybetter. just shorter cuz i'm losing focus here.

computer. showed mom. went a little ghetto and brought the electrical tape out to fix the problem heh heh. and that struck the right nerve with my mom. she said 'hmm...maybe it's time for a new computer..." *blink*...no...looked through some ads. things are looking up in the computer mission of mine. so, i MAY have a new computer soon. there was a $379 desktop at Best Buy (instant savings too which is a plus with mom)that I'm interested in. it has a $30 upgrade too. i dunno. that was last night when all this happened and i haven't had a chance to see her today cuz of school.

first day today. comp ii was boring. i could hardly hear her because she's getting over a cold or something. but whatev. got out early and bought my books. went to algebra. the old man is totally flaming and frickin' hilarious. but, it was a bit hard for me to sit through that class because i got like and hour and half of sleep (insomnia is great...) and was really ADD today. Should have seen me. and the beginning of it was explaining that damn calculator that i know how to use...and some people are a little slower than others...so it took like 45 minutes. so i couldn't keep my attention in line. so then we started goes over things and he was assuming we remembered everything from high school algebra...like how to simplify square roots. hell...i didn't understand that in high school. i'm not going to remember that. so, i gotta figure out how to do that by tomorrow. but i think it will be fine once i get with the program.

and that's all i'm going to say for right now. be thankful.

Well shit. Looks like the laptop is going to be in remission...again. I think I have to get the power connector in the back of the computer repaired or replaced. All I know is that I grabbed the laptop, and pulled to towards me. The power cord must have been caught or something because the plug that goes into the laptop came out, and now the laptop won't charge, but the power cord is on. Any idea on how much it would be to repair that. I mean, from my viewpoint, there is nothing wrong with it. I don't know what happened. Oh well, the battery needs to be replaced too because it doesn't even last 45 minutes. Lame...

So, I'm backing up my fonts and icons, because my fonts and icons are precious to me.

In other news, I cleaned the bathroom AND the tub we don't use. I feel so accomplished now. *looks around bedroom* yeah...so accomplished...

  • So, I guess I should update on where I stand on my decision about my college career, and my future career.

I have decided to finish out the year at TWU playing catch-up. I'll take my remaining cores, still taking opera and voice. My main goal is to bring my GPA up so that it's not a factor in admission decisions. I plan on transferring to a different university for Fall 2007. I'm aiming for University of Texas at Arlington because it's a good, LOCAL program, I've known students in the program, and I've met a voice professor. I'll also re-apply to Sam Houston State. I may or may not apply to Stephan F. Austin. They have a really good Education program, but it might be TOO selective. I'll just have to check it out. Right now, I'm researching Universities. I'm planning on transfering to a Music Education degree with a Choral Emphasis. All 3 of these universities have that (unlike TWU)

But, no matter what, I'm going to be in school for AT LEAST 3 more years because once I transfer, I'll have to catch-up on the year I've missed in music. But, I'm going to take Music History this year, and re-take Music Theory in the Spring. So those will be a couple less classes. Some universities only accept 4 semesters of ensembles, so I might be in a predicament there too. Who knows.

And, I don't have a Plan B. So, I'm up a creek if this goes belly up.
